What a fun week we have had. Last Saturday Aubrey had her first piano recital. It went really well. Aubrey has been practicing her recital piece non stop for the last few weeks and she did a perfect job. The picture of her at the piano was taken right before the recital started at her teachers house. Her piano teacher is wonderful and we are so grateful for all her hard work. Austin has been perfecting the art of bubble facial hair in the bathtub. He is really looking forward to being able to grow his own real facial hair but will settle for a bubble goatee in the meantime. Next came International Day at Aubrey's school. Her entire grade level performed the samba for the entire school. It was a very impressive sight. The costumes were a labor of love for the 10 or so moms that I worked on them with. I think most of us still have glue gun blisters from the feathers and beads that had to be glued on every skirt and crown for the girls and all the armbands and shirts for the boys. I was so wrapped up in watching them I forgot to get a picture of all 100 kids dancing in full costume. It was fantastic. Next, Brandon's beloved Titans played in both the Regionals and Super Regionals here in Fullerton. Brandon was really looking forward to a trip to Omaha for the College Baseball World Series. He has been a couple of times and it is one of his favorite things to do. The Titans beat UCLA in the regionals but fell to their arch rivals Stanford during the Super Regionals. We took the kids to one of the Fullerton Vs. Stanford games. They love to go mainly for the food. It is always a struggle for them to figure out whether to get candy, kettle corn, shaved ice, funnel cake or ice cream. If they had their way they would have them all. Can' t say I blame them!

Such a fun family with fun activities. Aubrey and Austin- you two are quite talented! Sounds like you are having so much fun and this is just the prelude to a super fun summer! Good for you guys!
